North Laurel 72 Covington Catholic 58

Featured Replies

North has lost several games this season because of players out with injuries. It looked like tonight that they are back healthy at the right time. If one just glances at the win-loss record of NL they might get the wrong assumption. They’re better than their record.

North Laurel must have been hearing the noise about them being overrated.

  • With a title like that, I figured you needed to show up every night.

Chadwell was having some knee issues late in the game.

Now this is a story that has my curiosity piqued.

I'm thinking that's just what it was, a story.  I had a nice seat at about half court, didn't see anything  happen concerning an ejection.

There absolutely was a NL fan ejection, right before the beginning of second half play. The game proceeded smoothly from there, but couldn’t tell why he was asked to leave.

He shows up every night but when they had numerous injuries teams could put so much more focus on him. But even when he is not scoring bushels of baskets he is distributing the ball to those around him and they’re scoring.
I was really impressed with him big time last summer in some top notch competition games on the summer circuit. He stood out against some of the top players in the country.

There you go.  Do you think if he signed with any other school he would be a Mcdonald all American? - as for AAU, he played for his dad. - that helps   He is awesome and well deserving of the accolades BUT there is so much more to it.

Make all the excuses why he’s getting accolades that you want, this kid deserves every single one of them, and yes, he would still be a McDonalds All American regardless of where he signed and as far as his Dad coaching AAU, you or I either one could coach his team with the same results so that is a null notion.
