In my opinion the biggest game of the week.  Conner (16-6) travels to Fort Thomas to take on Highlands (21-6) in what I think will be a high scoring game.  Currently Conner is averaging 66.5 points per game while only giving up 58.5.  Highlands is averaging 78.6 while giving up 64.5.  Conner's fantastic four of Campbell, Hamilton, Kramer, and Lohr account for 87% of the offense.  If Highlands can limit or stop one of these from their  average there could be a cake party after the game for Highlands.

Highlands has 4 (Herald, Vinson, Moeves, and Ryan) also scoring double figures a game with Benke close at 8.5 a game.  I've read the past threads that Highlands defense is lacking sometimes but they always seem to step it up a little against Conner.  Going back to 2017 Highlands is 7-1 verses Conner.  

Game will be live streaming on 859sportsradio and they do a fantastic job of play by play action.  I'm staying home for this one and will be watching, I'll update the score at the end of each quarter for those who cannot watch it live.  Conner at Highlands - Boys Basketball | Basketball | 859sportsradio (meridix.com).  I’m assuming this game will also be streaming on the Highlands Athletics YouTube channel also  

I'm predicting Conner in a close one, 67-65....COUGARS! COUGARS! FIGHT!

Key for Highlands, like always is can they get stops when they need them.  

Key for Conner will be limiting Vinson's paint touches.  Teams that give the Birds trouble are teams that do this with only 1 defender so the others can lock on the 2 shooters.

Bigger question is will there be more made 3's or made 2's?

I'm taking the Birds 72-68.  Should be fun!

That’ll get you a pretty big lead. Conner quick to convert missed shots by Highlands, and Conner getting offensive rebounds and putting them right back up for two. Turned it on with 6 1/2 to go in second and it was a 26 point game by then.
