By the way cville, I love the avatar!!!  :thumb:

Nice try to fire up the Lady Royals sc-bob  RH is very, very good and I do believe that it is a regulation size floor and the goals are still 10ft. high at Raceland so I don't see that as that much of a factor. I believe that RH has played and won in more intimidating places.:thumb:

Ah, oldrambler, you know and I know that there is much more to a venue than size of floor and height of basketball goals. True, Rose Hill has won in far more intimidating arenas. However, when teams are of similar ability, the homecourt advantage tends to be the difference.

You can't watch "Hoosiers" to many times!!! if you are a basketball fan.:D

Quite right!:thumb:

Both RH and Raceland have been so poor at times that they may neither one represent. That would be about par for the course!

:thumb: I agree scooter and if the Lady Rams can't win this thing then I will be pulling for the R.H. Lady Royals.

:thumb: The only thing that they got wrong on that one is that it should had been titled "Wildcats". ;)

I am not familiar with the rest of the field. Who else is a Class A school besides Raceland and Rosehill?

Fairview Elliott Co. Bath Co. Menifee Co.

And, oldrambler, you can be sure that, if the Lady Rams win, we will all be rooting for them to advance at Richmond.

Elliott hosts Fairview tonight in a first round game. Could be the first time the Lady Lions have been a favorite in any tournament game in a long time. I still can't see anyone beating Rose Hill for the title. Way too much talent at three different positions. No other Class A school has that in the 16th.

The Lady Royals had better be well prepared to face Raceland, should they get past Bath County this evening. The Raceland coaching staff was reportedly seen at both the LexCath and the Woodford County games.

Thursday night's game should be a good one...the best gym in the region, two evenly matched teams and a probable trip to Richmond on the line.

And in hopes of getting the best officiating one can desire, I humbly submit the following:

Whereas I have in times past been guilty of the most egregious and outrageous behavior directed towards those kind and well-intentioned men and women in stripes who by their efforts do make both player participation and spectating possible, I do hereby offer my sincerest apology for past offenses and pledge to henceforth maintain the highest level of decorum whilst reserving the right to voice an appropriate yet minimal amount of disgust or contempt, whichever I deem necessary for the occasion, and will offer said remarks in the kindest possible way.:D

I beleive what you were trying to state was on the substruction of the post elementary and Junior High state officials whereas the decadence of incorruptibility and the ethicality of those men and women who don the black and white stripe shirts in gymnasiums where thoust playeth youth sports such as in this sheath a basketball game, are granting spectators the opportunity the ramble about their feelings on certain tootles and thier appropriate or not so appropriate outcomes. And now you are pledging in this new year of 2007 to be on ameliorate deportment. Is this what you were saying? By the way, I love your posts.
