I was talking with somebody who hit it right on the head, I thought. Pulaski tried to take away Alcorn when they should've came in to take away Ralston. Alcorn is fantastic but he hurts you with layups and struggles from time to time at the line. Ralston kills you with 3s and Pulaski didn't defend him with size so he shot over the top (when he wasn't wide open) all evening. Pulaski did pretty good limiting Alcorn, overall. That being said, Alcorn played within the flow of the game and didn't force any action. He had quite a few assists and rebounded very well. 

I'm neutral in the region and 45th district, but Lincoln was hard not to like last night. They were scary. Almost everyone they played was in double figures and looked a legitimate threat and I think that's what separates them. Yes, you have Ralston and Alcorn; but Bishop can score, Sims can score, and now, Davis is finding a groove.

I still think that Boyle will have something to say about it before it is over (call me a homer).  I believe that once they get a starting lineup set that it will start clicking for them.  The thing that is in doubt is the shooting for Boyle.  They did barely beat Garrard last night but the shot 3-18 the 3rd QT while Garrard was 7/11 and FT shooting has hurt Boyle in some games.   Of the teams I have seen in the 12 Region so far, DCA is good, and you have to watch out for Garrard.   Boyle shot poorly from the field and FT line against DCA and that hurt them.  Against Highlands, If Boyle hits FT they win the game and like I said the same for DCA.  But like my Mom always said, "if if's and buts was candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas".   I haven't seen Lincoln or Pulaski play yet, but both seem to be playing pretty well.   I just think that the 12 Regions is probably tougher this year and before and that is from the top down to about #11.

I've heard this too about Boyle.  I'm sure Coach Webb will find his 7-8 man rotation.  It is very hard to try and play 10-11 guys in a 32 min game...

Agree.  Can't let Ralston get going.  The 3 ball is the weapon you have to take away from them, and live with everything else.

You're not a "homer"! Just calling it like you've seen. I have yet to watch Boyle so I won't give any input on them but I totally agree that Boyle could very well end up in the conversation by the end of the season. Very excited for this 12th Region tournament!

I agree about Pulaski.  They aren't as good as their record indicates.  I wasn't impressed with them in the one game that I watched them live vs. Somerset. They weren't bad, they just looked very beatable.   That said, I expected Lincoln to win last night, but not by that large of a margin.

Agree.  I think Somerset played well that night, but still had 20 TOs and should've won the game...

DCA was supposed to host District this year but they didn't meet the requirements. They are building a new facility which will be up in 2026. 

Danville @ DCA tonight in a district seed game.  They'll meet next Tues. in the semis of the All-A Region.  These two played some great games last season, and I expect they'll matchups will be super tight this season as well.

I'll go DCA tonight, and Danville to win the All-A matchup on a neutral floor.

I tend to agree with that. I’d be surprised if Danville wins the one tonight for sure.

If memory serves me correct, I believe the split the seeded regular season games last year...DCA won the All-A Matchup and Danville won in the district tournament.  All relatively close.  A nice budding rivalry in Danville ?

The more we talk about the 45th, the more excited I get for the district semifinals and we still have like 45 days until those happen.
