Looking back over last few years Walton don’t lose to many games at home.

I know everyone loves Kyle Bennett, WV's AD, but I'm not really sure that buys them a bunch of calls...but heck, maybe it does.

I'd say the FT difference came from Walton constantly driving to the hoop when Scott did not. Scott had a chance to win it in regulation and drew up a rushed 3 instead of driving to the basket in what would have been almost guaranteed foul/shots.

2 of the 3 crew members were in over their head. Hopefully it was just a bad night.

Carter Kroman: 23 Pts

Julian Dixon: 23 Pts/14 Rbs

Aaron Gutman: 20 Pts/13 Rbs

Max Montgomery: 17 Pts

Zach Smith: 15 Pts

Connor Gregory: 7 Pts

Landon Bach: 2 Pts

I couldn't find stats/roster for Scott but #10 is a player.

Xarek Sarakatannis 36 pts

Carter Eten 21 pts 15 reb

Dylan Giffen 21 pts

Brayden Howell 9 pts

Jon Evans 8 pts

76 Total Free throws attempted.
29 for Scott.  47 for WV.
After the 2 intentional fouls by WV players that should have been ejections the refs went nuts and blew the whistle almost every trip.

Scott should have won this game looking at  the stats for both teams. Crazy numbers.

It’s was 42-38 Walton at the half. Scott was down a starter for the game and then another got hurt during the game.

76 free throws makes me want to vomit

56 Fouls per bookkeeper.  4/5 Scott starter fouled out and the 1 got hurt.  Only 1 foul out for WV.  Should have been 2 WV ejections for intentional fouls.

I’m always curious about the statement “refs lost control”. Intentional fouls are not ejection worthy unless it’s flagrant which not being there could have very well been the case or not. Does the loss of control not fall on the coaches and players at some point? 56 fouls and 76 FT’s!?! What do you want an official to do to “keep control”. If they don’t want “play” basketball all a ref can do is call what they see.

I didn't say anything about officiating.

Are you referring to senior Nolan Hunter? He was injured in the 1st quarter of the first game of the season. Out at least another month.
