Pretty good football game on a day with not much football.

So hard to see the tears and emotion from the kid from Navy who fumbled.

Agree.

So Air Force takes home the title this year.

This game,in my opinion, is the very best thing about college football.

I have no rooting interest, I just love this game.

What a fun game. Agreed on the Navy player, it's hard to watch.

Always my favorite game of the year. Hats off to both of these institutions that protect and serve our beloved country. Salute to both teams.

Navy Coach Ken Niumatalolo, will not return and interim coach has been named. I always liked him and thought overall he had done a great job considering the recruiting restrictions inherent to the service academies.

Niumatalolo, the winningest coach in program history, led Navy to a 109-83 record. The Midshipmen were 10-5 against Army West Point and 7-7 against Air Force under his leadership with six Commander-In-Chief's Trophy wins across his 15 seasons.

However, Navy is just 2-5 against Army including Saturday's 20-17 double overtime loss to the Black Knights. Niumatalolo is 2-5 against Air Force since 2016, and the Midshipmen have losing records in four of their last five seasons with a 11-23 mark overall since 2020.

Told my wife this would happen after the fumble in the second OT. They will have trouble finding a coach to stay there 20 seasons (5 as an assistant) and have that much success. Thought maybe Stanford might look at him even though his expertise is in a hybrid triple option.
