Definitely was a great play.  Player basically picked and cut to the basket, so I'm sure it was intended.  Just about every HS team runs a play like that, but Tshiebwe was so out of position it was ridiculous.  And then looked around like "What the hell happened?"

I'd probably take a bullet for Oscar at this point, but that was a terrible mental lapse by him.

UK that Covid year finished ranked 8th in the country. So they were positioned to possibly be a 2 seed depending how they did in the SEC tourney, or a 3 seed if they didn’t do much in SEC tourney. That team definitely had things you would want in a team in the tournament. Good guard play, guys who could shoot, a good big guy down low, and they were a team that drew a lot of fouls and also made their free throws, as evident by being the second best free throw team in the country. I need to add, Hauser with a great game by Michigan State.  I don't watch a lot of games that don't involve UK because life gets in the way, but he's the type of player that I can enjoy watching.

Also, I've decided that I don't like guys named Walker when they play against UK.

Glad Dickie V was back at it.  I know many don't care much for him calling games but he is a big part of college bball to me.

At least to ease the pain of the loss some at least Duke is going to lose.

True, let’s not support a coach who has brought more final fours than any other coach to UK besides Rupp. Tom Izzo is definitely a great X and O coach, but yet UK fans would also try to run him out of here as quick as possible with his only one title since 2000, and many losses during the regular season too. 
 

I do agree they do need to start winning these type of games though. They need to type of confidence back of where they are going to just go out and win no matter who they play. 

Very true about the final 4’s but is that due to Cal being a great recruiter or a great game prep/in game coach???  I think most people know the answer is the first one and the latter one is what everybody gets aggravated with, Cal has lost way too many games that he should not have

Hauser is a catch and shoot player, which obviously is what we let him do, Gonzaga made him put it on the floor, the few times we made him do that he missed the shot

You are correct these last few years they definitely have lost a lot of games they shouldn’t have. No argument here on that. However, basically every coach has lost a lot of games over the years that they shouldn’t have. Some people act like having a better X and O coach automatically means they wouldn’t lose games they shouldn’t. Tubby and Billy G were great X and O coaches and lost plenty of games they shouldn’t. Coach K also lost plenty of games he shouldn’t have through the years, same with Pitino. Cal has even had teams beat Pitino, when Pitino had teams that shouldn’t have lost to UK like in the 2014 tournament. 
 

Point is while there definitely is people who are better at X and Os. It still doesn’t mean would have better success or not lose games they shouldn’t.

That explains how Gonzaga kept him quiet, but how did Michigan State  played them so close without him scoring?

Good points, agree with you, I think the 2 major things that aggravate the fans is Cal’s arrogant stubbornness to update his offense and his arrogant stubbornness to run BLOB plays

Didn’t watch every minute of that game and to is hard to do observations off of 1-2 games but it looked like it was a combination of Gonzaga is not that great and Michigan St is better than all the pollsters thought
