Not sure how much I would read into the injury ... He played defense after he came out of the game on offense.

Awesome to hear, thank you for the update! Looking forward to seeing the Tiger defense compete against the SV offense attack at full strength ?

He’s out per Pikeville Newspaper.

Bummer! Disappointing for him and for everyone else.

Per Pikeville paper Osborne has broken collarbone and is out.

Osborne's injury is doubly unfortunate.

Part of what's great about a game like this, is seeing a relatively unknown talent compete against an opponent of the highest level. Regardless of the final score, Osborne could have raise his profile ten fold with a performance befitting his abilities. Hopefully that profile gets a substantial bump next season.

As for the game, Beechwood was likely to win big anyway. Now they win bigger.

In Osborne's absence, Beechwood should get a heavier dose of Jayden Newsome, who may be the state's active career rushing leader. He went over 5,000 career yards last week. After some admittedly nonchalant research, I couldn't find anyone with more.

5,000 yards? Wow. That’s a high mark to meet. Can’t wait to see him show off his talent against the Tigers. Wish we could see the tandem of him and Osborne.

Unfortunate to hear that Osbourne will be out. Beechwood’s D feasts on teams that are one dimensional so I am not sure if the backup can do enough to make the Tigers respect the passing game. I didn’t think this was going to be in the running clock range but without Osbourne I think that’s what we may be headed too.

Bump.

5,000 yards in Shelby Valley math is closer to 3,000.

3,000 is still a very strong number.

I hope all Shelby Valley players, coaches, staff, their families, and supporters of the program have a safe trip up. 3 and a half hours is no joke of a drive and I hope they all make it up with no issues!

No stream of this game?

I was told Beechwood wouldn't allow a stream of this game which I assume some on here may dispute.
