Flyers seemed to be trying to kill the Spencer county kids. Hadn’t seen that much hate from the flyers in a long time. 

I was one of the few according to the poll anyway that picked FC to win but even I am surprised by the margin.

Franklin County jumped Spencer County early in the first quarter and it was over quickly. Their athleticism was too much for Spencer. 

Spencer County runs a nice offense and actually moved the ball fairly well at times. However, I have a criticism: They were clearly schooled to take as much time off the clock as possible before each snap - limiting possessions for Franklin in the process. However, the quarterback wouldn’t go under center until the back judge raised his hand, essentially giving Franklin County thirty seconds before every play to rest and remember assignments. In my opinion, Spencer would have been more effective altering their snaps (some fast, some delayed) to keep Franklin’s defense off balance a bit. They probably don’t win but they wouldn’t have been quite so predictable.

Time and time again as we get deeper into the playoffs it becomes clear that strength of schedule is more important than a team's record. Spencer County's SOS was 25th in 4A. Franklin County's is 10th.
