Central Hardin advances after a lackluster performance against Apollo. In the second half, Central Hardin played better and added 3 touchdowns to the final score vs Apollo 33-6, after holding a slim 11-0 lead at halftime. CH  Walker Meredith, one of it's leading RB, was held out of this game as a precautionary measure and 6"4:. 245 # TE/DE did not play as well in this game due to injury.

With that being said, the defense stepped up, as it has all season, and made some big stops vs Apollo in the red zone. RB Mason Gardner had a monster night with 4 TDs and QB Zachary Spurrier completed some key 3rd down passes to keep drives alive.

Central Hardin steps up in the competition level this week vs Daviess County. They appear to be very well coached and balanced on offense with Lake Wilson throwing for over 1200 yards on the season. With the heart and soul of the team going down with an injury in the final seconds of their game vs North Hardin, RB Bryson Parm, who has rushed for over 1400 yards on the season, will truly be a big loss in Daviess Counties offensive production.

I think that the CH defense can make enough defensive stops to make this a 2-3 score victory for the Bruins.

Parm is out.  CH will win.

I think Central Hardin wins especially if Parm out.

HCP how did you get 11 points at halftime? That seems like an odd number to get to.

I like Central in this game.

Good morning Purple88. Central Hardin scored a TD and successfully completed a 2 point conversion. CH placekicker Vanbligenburg, kicked a 34 yard FG late in the second quarter for the 11-0 halftime score.

Central Hardin defense should limit Daviess County scoring opportunities and CH rushing attack that is averaging 284 yards a game should be able to establish the run game vs Daviess County. I was surprised that North Hardin was able to put up 27 points on Daviess County's defense on Friday night.

Bump.

Looks like Central Hardin will get Sr. DE/TE Braydon Robbins and Jr. RB/DB Walker Meredith back tonight after both missed last week's game vs Apollo. Robbins is a 6'5" 240# DB that has 40 tackles on the season. Meredith is the second leading rusher on the team with 775 yards rushing on a team that is second in 6A with 3,159 rushing yards on the season. RB Mason Gardner leads 6A with 26 TDs on the season and is a hard -nosed runner who scored 4 TDs in the Apollo game last week and appears to be peaking at the right time.

25 minutes to game time!!!

Daviess County has won the coin toss and deferred to the second half.

DC kicks off. CH returns the kickoff to the 22 yard line. First and 10.

CH 3 and out. CH punt down to DC 8 yard line.

DC drive stalls. Punt blocked by CH. CH first and 10 at the CH 48.

Walker Meredith for a 62 yard run for a TD. Xtra point good
