Warren East comes in to their second round match up with Madisonville off a 46-0 win against Hopkins County Central. Madisonville downed Warren Central 39-12 in a game where they pulled away in the second half.  

I for one am not too familiar with Madisonville or what they present and as far as I can tell this is the first meeting between these two schools in their existence. Strictly on comparative scores, I lean Warren East's direction. That is not the end all be all come playoff time, however, I say it lands East as the favorite going in to Friday night..

You are right Bill; this is the first meeting between these 2.  Looking at the season stats for Madisonville, they throw the ball half as much as they run it.  The RB tandem of Markezz Hightower and Lajaun MacAdoo have over 1,600 yards on the ground and 18 TDs on the year, nearly half of the Maroons yearly total.  The passing attack for Madisonville has had roughly 1,500 yards in the air with 14 TDs vs 12 INTs.

So to me, if East can load the box and stop the run they will win this game.  

I look for East to do that.  May not be easy or a commanding win, but a win none-the-less.

East has been firing on all cylinders on O and has shown that they score A LOT regardless of their opponent. East will be a tough out for anyone they face in 4A.
