Saint Xavier (9-1) is coming off a 31-0 win over Bowling Green and will host Southern (3-7) who is coming off a 28-8 win over Valley.

This is a huge mismatch and St. X will host the winner of Male vs. Pleasure Ridge Park in the 2nd round. St. X will most likely hold out any starters that are banged up and look to be healthy going into 2nd round. 

I posted this primarily to provide game updates Thursday rather than predictions. 

This game is a joke.  But the Male game in Week 2 will be a battle.

Male getting the guys they have to have healthy.  

Can they beat St X?  Probably not, but I'm predicting a closer game.

Should be a game where a lot of players get their first playoff action for the Tigers. 

Should be quick game with running clock in 1st half so won't be late night on a work/school night.

I found out in playoffs the gate gets split between both schools. Probably will be more money for Southern than if they had home game.

They had only sold 300 tickets around 2:00 pm today. Need to sell at least 500 to break even to cover costs.
