@nkypete is the big winner.  Nice job pete.  I was attempting to throw people off by making them think that was snow instead of salt, given the time of the year, but you're too smart.  Awesome job. 

 

Salt Lake City is beautiful, as is all of Utah.  I think it's the prettiest state in the country.  The pictures look fake, they are so nice.  Here is another one, no filter, just an iPhone.

It is a nice city and the views are something not seen anywhere else.  I'm sure you seen them.  Utah is one of the few places that I find myself amazed at the views.  Many places are nice, but Utah just looks like someone painted it.  And, I have never seen a more clear sky than in Utah.  Just amazing.

You feel like you have all the room in the world.  The lanes on the roads seem wider than back east.  Having a constant view of the mountains is amazing.  I toured parts of the Mormon Tabernacle when I was there (the parts that I was allowed to view).  It was a Wednesday (if I remember) and couples were lined up outside to get married.  I was there for business both times, but I had friends who had a 10,000+ square foot log cabin near Ogden, UT.

Actually, we have a base in Ogden, that is where I was working when those pictures were taken.  We also have a base south of SLC in Lehe.
