As for myself:

 

Both nervous AND excited about the new coach.

 

We had Bush for one easy win this year, so losing Brohm is a bit of a gut buster, but Hunter proved he can play the position well, even if he's not quite Brohm. Still not shaking.

 

The recruits are probably my biggest concern, but still, seeing a new coach into a HOT program that still has a great team should provide us with an acceptable class.

 

We hit a bump, not a roadblock. I'm still hoping to get some season tickets.

You can accuse me of blinders all you want, UofL still has too much in the trenches and some good weapons offensively to lose to UK. Even with the return of Burton (GO KEENAN!!, btw) and the almighty Woodson. I wouldn't be surprised if it was a good game, but I REALLY don't see UK winning this, home game or not.

Louisville proved they didn't need Bush to dominate UK in the second half this year. And Brohm didn't exactly set that game on fire.

 

I know it must hurt to think about that game, but here are some factoids:

 

Louisville will return 3 players that outrushed UK's ENTIRE TEAM (Allen, Stripling, and WR Harry Douglas) and 2 players that scored rushing TDs. No UK player scored on the ground this past September. This doesn't even include Brock Bolen's soft-hands TD snag.

 

UK was 2-12 on 3rd down against Louisville. They managed only 8 first downs all game, even though Andre Woodson threw for 231 yards; this was because he only completed 9 of 24 passes. If it wasn't a long bomb, Woodson couldn't move the offense. Louisville had a staggering 31 first downs, and rang up over 600 yards of offense.

 

UK didn't even sack Brian Brohm once.

Not to take away from Woodson's improvement this year, but I'd still take Cantwell. Urrutia over Buuurr... nah, I can't say that. I'd take UofL's returning RB's over UKs as well. Plus, with as good as the weapons as they'll have, UK's offensive line is going to have to be something special this off season to protect those guys.

You keep starting all your arguments with last year. You should know better than that. Everyone but you realizes UK is much better now than early last season...from their QB all the way to their defense. If you want to make a valid argument, it will have to be that UL brings enough to Lexington next year to come out with a win...and that's not even close to being a given...
