Greenup's Tyson Sammons (sophomore by the way) is having a great season.  Duel threat.  He can pass for 200, and rush for another 200.

In my option, if you stop Tyson, you stop Greenup County, but you have to stop him through the air and on the ground.  He can do both.

East Carter's Estep, on the other hand, is a potent passer.  Not a running QB.

Can Greenup County stop the pass?  Can East Carter contain the duel threat Sammons?

East is at home, Greenup on the road for their 2nd District match-up.

Greenup County is 1-0 in District play with a big one-point win over Russell last week.

East Carter is 0-1 in District play with a loss to struggling Ashland last week.

Younger brother of Eli? I'm assuming yes, but not certain. Mason looks much shorter but more athletic/mobile.

Yep, younger brother.  Pure athlete.  Mason is an athlete as well, just in different ways.  He makes a big difference on defense and will be missed on the OL next season.  I expect Tyson to hold a lot of records and stats in two and a half years.  He may end up being better than Eli when it's all said and done.  He has a high level of maturity for his age.  I have to say I am excited to see him when he is a senior.
