I was disappointed in OJ's game. I missed the first 3 qtrs but he was awful in the 4th. It wasn't simply a case of missing shots (he was missing them) but, rather, he just forced too much. You've got 5 D1 players on your team. You do not have to be the show. His decision-making was extremely poor.
Thats is becaused it appears that is all he knows and has been told......That he is the show. No question he can play....... but is there a more well traveled high school player.......three high school teams in all. Will he make it to the NBA and be successful or will he be a bust?

Heard Patterson was getting looks from Florida, Duke, West Virgina among others.

At this point, he is probably UK's #1 priority as well. A while back I heard his favorites were UK and Duke. However that was before Florida entered the picture.

I've felt that way leaving many of his games. I think he is a great talent and the right coach could make him a great college and pro player. When he's making most of the shots he's forcing, its a fun thing to watch.

Will Lexington Cath or Scott Co keep in within 20 when they play HH

Probably not.

It looks like South Charleston may be HHS only defeat of this season. HHS is debating forfeiting the game against SCHS if the game is not moved to a larger gym. Huntington High officials say they won't show up for the game if enough tickets are not made available to their school. South Charleston's gym seats 900 people and the South Charleston administration said the game will be played at their school, or not at all.

Does anyone else think it is a little childish to not play the game and take a forfeit, just because HHS isn't getting their way in this one? It looks as if their only defeat may come from a team that shouldn't play within 30 points of them.

Yeah, thats kind of childish and selfish. Thats what you get when money is involved I suppose.

I agree. The site of the game should be up to South Charleston. HHS is bigtime this year. However, they should remember that they will return to normal next year and normal for HHS is not big time.

First of all, I have seen OJ play at all 3 schools. HE IS THE SHOW.

Everyone, especially KY people, wanna judge and criticize OJ and his game. OJ has been thru a lot and will go thru more, and for what he has been thru, he is probably one of the best players to ever come thru this area.

He has had some challenges in the past, but put yourself in his shoes and see if you have the challenges or not. Try being in the spotlight day after day and see how you make it also.

OJ had not even taken a shot since Tuesday due to a Hamstring Injury, and was cold as ice and still dropped 27 on one of the best teams in the Country. That is pretty good, no matter how many shots he took.

For once lets just support a player from our area and be happy for the kid, instead of being so critical.

Some things are out of a kid's control. When you was growing up with your parents, I am sure you didnt make the family decisions either, so dont hate the kid because of someone else decision.:thumb:

Why cause he takes the spotlight of some good ole KY boy..??

I am a good Ole KY boy and I am happy for OJ and glad to see any kid achieve what he has achieve.

Like it or not, he is the best to come thru in a LONG time.

I also would like to comment on how well the HHS players have really came together as a team, and ALL the players have achieved well this year. This is probably one of the best, true hometown player teams of all times, which means NO recruits.

Does anyone know where I can find a HHS basketball schedule for the remainder of this season?
