4A #3 Lexington Catholic (2-1) hosts 6A Pleasure Ridge Park (2-1) and coming off a 7-6 loss to 5A Covington Catholic. Pleasure Ridge Park is coming off a 41-14 loss to 5A Bowling Green.

Last year Lexington Catholic won 45-30.

Kentucky commit Jakob Dixon of Pleasure Ridge Park may create some interest for Cat fans there in Lexington to come check him out.

Does Lexington Catholic make it two in a row over PRP or does PRP get back in the win column?

A little PRP fun fact of the day. Their strength and conditioning coach and I believe he helps with the lineman also, Austin Jaggers is a top tier armwrestler as he is ranked #1 overall in Kentucky and is ranked roughly in the top 10 nationally with both arms. I know some of you are thinking it, and no, you definitely can't beat him. ?

He played for Holy Cross in high school and ended up at Eastern Kentucky for his last couple seasons.

Number one in Kentucky and top ten nationally with both arms, wow, what a beast!

Hype video included!

Nothing my spaghetti arms, and a well timed poke in the eye couldn't handle. LOL

PRP "could" have been much closer to BG had they not:

- had many snaps over the QBs head,

- called running plays on 3rd and 5 with 2 D1 WRs and a 3 year starter at QB, and

- run plays that don't favor their strengths.  In HUDL videos before the BG game, I saw multiple 3 WR set throwing the ball to Dixon and the other 2 blocked.  I don't think they did that once against BG.  I think they could have had success with that.

Their defense wasn't that bad.  They are going to have to come with a better game plan if they want to hang with Catholic.

I've seen him in person at 2 of his last 3 events as my sons were making their 1st and 2nd appearances as they are getting started. Jaggers is making waves for sure.

Wasik to DeGraff from 17 yards out to put LexCath up 21-13.
