It looks as though he compares favorably to his fellow shortstops. Yount played almost as many games in the outfield as shortstop so he's a little bit different animal. However, his numbers are not head and shoulders above the others and I think that's the true measure of a Hall of Famer. I'd still vote no.

 

Yount had 1600+ 3152 hits, 250+ HR and 1400+ RBI, they are Head and shoulders above the rest.

Kudos on your research, it is top notch again....however I would, put Davey in. Then again I listened to the Reds daily through the meat of his career 75-85...so this might be a "Homer" pick.
