William Buford was named as the new Glasgow head coach back in April. Does anyone have some insight on the type of offensive scheme that this new coach runs and predictions for the Scotties in 2022?

John Hardin lost experience in the back field to graduation and must start a new QB (Jabari Wilson). John Hardin coach Doug Preston is a proven winner and I am confident that he will have them ready to play Friday night.

Youngest most inexperienced football team I have ever had. Starting a couple of Juniors that have never played organized football before as well as 6 sophomores and 1 freshman on defense and about the same on Offense. We will improve as we go. Good young talent but literally only one player on each side of the ball with any high school football Friday night experience. Hopefully we can learn each week and be ready when we hit our district. First 5 are brutal for this kind of inexperience. but we will come out (baring injuries) a forged in fire team.

Glasgow should be good. They lost a couple of really good backs but at Glasgow they just reload at that position. They have several linemen back on both sides and their big fullback Stockton. Their biggest loss was probably John Carter Myers in the defensive backfield.

Sorry I forgot my prediction I’m going Scotties 35-14.

Year three has typically been when Doug Preston's teams go from good to contenders. I'm not saying John Hardin is winning Class 4A but it wouldn't surprise me to see the Bulldogs up near the top of the class in 2022.
