Interesting season on the horizon for Lincoln. Year 1 of the Jaggers era. There's talent on this roster. 5-6 starters back on each side of the ball.

Looking at the schedule, I expect Lincoln to begin 2-0. Pulaski and Southwestern will be a challenge on the road, but I expect Lincoln to compete with both. I expect a win vs East Jess and actually a win vs Bell Co. They finish with a out of district game vs Rockcastle at home, Win.  5-2 non-district.

The district is very tough, and Lincoln hits the road for 2/3. I expect a win at Wayne, Loss (Close) at Corbin, and win at home vs Knox Central. 2-1 district.

A 7-3 overall record. 2nd place in their district, with another Home-Playoff Game. Coach Jaggers Era starts off on a good note, continuing the success that Crutchfield started 4 years ago. Lincoln has real potential, especially in that 2nd Round Playoff game this time.

Watch out for the Patriots!

Coach Jaggers will do a great job but I don't see them beating Danville next year. Danville returns 2 freshman studs in Brown and Baughman, then throw Bixler in the mix from Anderson County and they will have a great backfield. They also return their whole offensive line.

Casey Co won't be a pushover either.  They return majority of their players.

I am wrong more times than right but I see 4-6. Wins against Casey, East Jess, Wayne, and Rock. But 7-3 is very manageable as mentioned in a previous post. Good luck to LC.

I wanted to come back to this thread today for a couple of reasons. I heard Lincoln had a good spring practice. Numbers were generally in the 60's, and that's with kids still missing at that time with baseball. I also had heard on social media that Lincoln was expecting a big time transfer, but I haven't seen anything official out of that.

Something else missing here, and that seems to be "additions" to the coaching staff. Usually with a new hire, you see a few new faces make their way to a staff. I haven't seen that anywhere, but that's not saying it didn't happen!

I stand by my original stance that Lincoln has potential to win up to 7 games, but, I'm going to lower that prediction to a 5-5 regular season, 1 home playoff win, and 2nd round exit. Prediction: 6-6.

3-7. Wins over Casey, East Jess, and Wayne County.

I think those are the 3 games most assume Lincoln can win. I think Danville, Knox Central and Rockcastle are possible wins as well considering they are at Lincoln. It sounds like Lincoln has some talent but won’t have game experience.
