Open Job: Graves County

Featured Replies

Coach Holder at Ballard Memorial is rumored to be the front runner at Graves.  Their AD may need to do their homework on this one.

Man, that would be a big step up from Ballard Memorial to Graves County.

I could see it if he was doing something special at Ballard

I know this used to be a very solid job, is it still a good job? Support, admin, etc...?

Graves gets a ton of coverage from local sports radio host that also does Eagles radio.

Outside of his hype they are basically a solid region team, haven't been the favorites in a really long time but they are usually a tough out on game night.

I don’t think it’s his call. They gotta get permission from parents probably.

That has always been the problem with Graves. Parents know they can run the ship if they’re loud enough and complain enough.

No offense to Holder. Not many guys can win at Ballard and its not fair to judge him as a coach by coaching there, but if an unproven Coach like him gets the job, then the program is officially dead, which is really sad, Because Graves owned the 90s in region one and then had multiple runs from 2000-2015.

A hire from within would be better imo. No experience is better than bad experience.

everybody apparently wants our current staff, except us.

Once parents run the show the program is dead.
