I'm probably one of the few on BGP, I'd assume, that has seen both of these teams multiple times -- Cooper around NKY and Pikeville at EKU during the ALL-A, and I think Cooper is a decided favorite here.  Pikeville is VERY good, and I LOVE their PG, but the size of Cooper, and the defensive intensity and togetherness by the Jags, will cause Pikeville a lot of problems.  Cooper, while not deep, does have more depth of talent, in my opinion, so I expect Cooper to win a low-scoring game by 10+.

Know I harp on strength of schedule, but Pikeville's 31-2 record is "soft." Latest SoS per Massey - Cooper #1, Pikeville #63. KHSAA RPI is deeply flawed in this one.

The on the court close ups of the player introductions are amazing, better than anything else I have seen on TV.

The game is getting ready to start.

Go Lady Jags!

Cooper is on a 7-0 run to start the game.  It is early but Cooper looks much better so far.

Cooper 19 Pikeville 14

End of the 1st quarter.

I would like to see Cooper use the backboard more.  Pikeville is playing very aggressive defense and many of the Cooper shots are short.

21 to 19 Cooper, 511 left in the first half.

Liz Freihofer sinks a 3 with 0:01.

I am on the standard KHSAA tape delay.

That was a NBA 3, sweet!
