Highlands 60 Bellevue 39 (36th District Semifinal)

Featured Replies

After falling to the Tigers for the first time just a couple of weeks ago, the re-charged Birds handled the rematch at the perfect time, and pull off the road win at Bellevue to clinch their position in the 36th District Championship (vs NewCath), and punch their ticket to NKU and the 9th Region Tourney.

Congrats to Bellevue on a really good season, much to be proud of!

Double digit blocks as well (although I have heard this second hand).

What grade is Green in? She has put up some big numbers lately.

I just saw it on twitter that she had 10 blocks from James Weber, so it must be true.

She is a FRESHMAN!!!  Great future ahead of her, I think prior to the season she already had I think Morehead State give her an D1 offer, granted being a freshman those offers I realize aren't guaranteed but still a sweet acknowledgement.

That is impressive.  I haven't followed all that closely but it seems like they have been struggling this year but building around her could mean good things for the future.

Rule 12 reads in part:

Any mention of prohibited subject matter. (e.g. – “I’d discuss further but it’s a violation,” “unfortunately we can’t talk about that because it is against the BGP rules/Terms of Service," "let's not do anything to get this thread shut down," "please follow the rules/Terms of Service so we can discuss this.")

To summarize, you are not permitted to comment on the administration (the process or activity of running of BGP in any manner) on the forum (BGP). If you have a concern, question, complaint, or any constructive criticism, we request you send an email to theguru at [email protected] and I will get back with you as soon as possible to address the issue.

Our Link Policy reads in part:

III. When any member posts a link to a 3rd party website, that link MUST be accompanied by meaningful commentary in the post explaining why the link has been shared. This is intended to provide insight about the link without forcing anyone to leave BGP in order to understand the subject matter, as well as continuing to generate organic discussion in the thread rather than completely directing attention elsewhere. Meaningful commentary could include questions (one simple question will not be sufficient) intended to stem discussion, it can be some personal observations about the topic of the link, or it could simply be a summary in the member’s own words about what is contained in the link.

I haven’t seen Green play since 6th and 7th grade, however, I would imagine her coordination is catching up to her size. You could tell then she had potential to be a really good player.  She’ll be one to follow over the next 3 years.
