Speak with the parents of a kid that plays for Tressel and I think you may see things differently.

I think Tressel stays at The Ohio State University much like a Bobby Bowden or Joe Peterno stay at their respective school. He seems very content at playing for national titles and being a 1st round draft pick factory.

I agree and I sure hope that you are right. One dead giveaway that he may stay at OSU is that espn was saying this same thing this morning about him going to Cleveland if he won the national title again. Considering espn's record lately on naming coaches:rolleyes: I would say that he is with the Buckeyes for good! . Imo Tressell going to Cleveland woud be a BIG mistake on his part. Like others have said, it's a sure recipie for coaching disaster. Imo Tressell could retire at Ohio State an deasily be mentioned in the same breath with Woody Hayes, Bo Schembechler, Paterno, Bowden, Bear Bryant and the like by the time he is done.

I disagree, like cville said if you would talk to some of the parents of his players I think you would feel different. As for the other statement, you must be comparing him to Petrino :sssh: Like he hasn't attempted to back stab a school before by having "midnight meetings" so to speak.

I also believe the Romeo gets one more year, if he does not produce then changes will be made and Bill Cowher after one season off, will come home to the Browns where he belongs.

I think Tressel's coaching style and his businesslike approach to everything would be well-suited to the NFL.

 

I don't expect him to leave OSU (who knows?), but if he does, I think he'd be a good NFL coach.

I think that when Tressel leaves OSU it will be by retirement and after many more wins, Big Ten titles and a few more National Championships. He will leave OSU with an ora much like Woody Hayes had, hopefully not because he punched a player though!
