January 1, 200719 yr It is just being reported on ESPN2 that starting Denver Bronco CB Darrent Williams was shot and killed last night. This is a breaking story so I don't have link as of yet.

January 1, 200719 yr I was just logging in to post this. Tragic story. Evidently he was at a night club in Denver, he had a female companion with him that was also shot but was not klled. No word on her as of yet. He was reported to be in his vehicle (Limo) getting ready to leave the club. ESPN's cold pizza reporting this, no mention of any further details. Details reported very unclear and have not been gathered yet. Like I said, I am passing on info from espn's cold pizza program.

January 1, 200719 yr Senseless that a young man's life was snuffed out. Agreed. Unfortunately the reporters are saying that this could have been an accidental shooting ( thinking it was someone else's limo )

But just because they shot up the wrong limo doesn't mean it was an accident..The person(s) that did this had full intentions of ending someones life, that's all that really matters. About a year ago a close friend of mine was shot and killed in Ashland. The shooter got a shortened sentence because he claimed he didn't mean to shoot anyone, that it was an 'accident.' He claimed that he was just trying to scare the people in the house by popping off a few rounds at a window, unfortunately she was on the other side of the window.. But the point is that it really burns me up that someone can have total disreguard for human life, then claim it was an accident once it's all over. Getting them around a 10 year sentence instead of life. Hopefully the people that shot Williams won't be allowed to do the same.
