So far so good, Day has virtually told them all in advance.  There’s a recruit or two trying to digest it but those kids sign next winter.

Day has Coombs’ replacement:

OSU to hire Tim Walton as Cornerbacks coach.  Played at OSU, has coached for 23 years, multiple stops coaching in the secondary in the NFL, coached the secondary under Saban at LSU and won a national championship

@John AnthonyI saw the other day they had "promoted" Brian Hartline to passing game coordinator (along with still being the WR's coach).  Did they have someone in that position before, or was it just created in an effort to get BH some extra cash or a higher title on recruiting visits (not that he really needs the latter, as he's been killing it as-is.)

Marcus Freeman tried to come from him.  He wasn’t going anywhere but it forced Day to “increase his role.”  This is a new position.

Freeman also tried to get former Bearcat Walter Stewart as well before settling on your boy Al Washington.
