I love that many schools have soccer only fields and facilities that they don't have to share with other sports.

So what are the best that you've seen as you've followed the sport across Kentucky?

It isn't separate, but the best facility / setting for a Soccer game in Kentucky, in my opinion, is Montgomery County.  Love that people set up on the grassy knoll around the field grilling out and hanging out, just a picturesque setting all the way around.

Hands down has to be the well manicured properly dimensioned plush natural grass cut probably daily:

 ST HENRY HIGH SCHOOL

They need to lock down the yearly Region Finals asap....the fans and more importantly the players absolutely love that venue.

Russell has a really nice field. It is probably the best grass field in the 16th for sure.

Central Hardin is currently in the process of installing a turf soccer field as part of their 40 million dollar school renovation project. This field will not be ready for play this season and I assume they will be using the Elizabethtown Sports Park for their home games this year.

Had heard the three HCS (Central, John, North) high schools looked at turf stadiums that would be lined for multiple sports (football, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey).

 

Did not know Central Hardin would be the first of the 3 to get a turf field for soccer only.

I believe that the football field will get turf for the 2023 season. Central Hardin was first on the list for a turf soccer field because it was rolled into the current renovation project at the school. 

I have heard that in the next few years all Hardin County schools will be getting turf Football fields.
