The Tates Creek football job was posted on the FCPS website late yesterday afternoon. 

It's going to be tough finding a real good HC for this spot. TC is not like how it was. I get they went deep in the playoffs few years back, but it's tough when you dedicated players, asst. coaches, administration. Now they are getting a brand new high school, so perhaps they can pull what Douglass has been doing for years. ?

Where's the legendary Roy Walton when you need him? Good coach and a character to boot.

I doubt Coach Walton is walking into Tates Creek campus anytime soon lol, but yeah they need a coach like his to resurrect back this program.

I’d say Trenton Fields lands this one. 

Fields did a great job at LC in his time there. That would be a home run.

Haven't heard for sure the job has been taken off the FCPS web site for a couple of weeks now.

They have hired one, but will not announce till later this week. What's the hold up, I have no idea.

I have heard the name Trenton Fields. I guess we will see next week. lol

Schools like to get their ducks in a row. In some cases it has to do with teaching positions. In others it has to do with notifying those who were not hired. Finally, some like to make a special announcement with media or at a basketball game and you have to find a date that works.

He wasn’t chosen for the job. Jonathan Hawks is the name I’ve heard.

Hawks is the track coach at Tates Creek, I believe. Has been for some time.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be J. Hawk. Stay tune today @ 3.
