LongTimeReader
What Manual showed last week is that being successful in the running game shortens the game nd puts pressure on the opposing team to make every possession count. And in the playoffs there's nothing better than being able to running the football when the defense knows that's what you're doing.

Colonels_Wear_Blue
I don't know what "formula" there is to it, but in my offensive line days in high school, I'd take a cold game any day of the week over a hot one...even as much as the cold weather would set my arms on fire when nose tackles would give them a good smack when they were trying to give me a slap-and-spin. Didn't love the way the cold air made my lungs burn during sprints at the end of cold weather practices either...but it wasn't really any worse than the hot and heavy air and clouds of dust in August from the practice field being worn down to dirt.
