Rose Hill is going to be a regional contender this year. They have more young talent and size than most and they are only going to get better. Those who are doing the bashing now may be eating some crow in the spring. As far as Piarist, everybody plays a cupcake or two and thaey are a natural for that particular tournament and what it stands for right now.

Mason, Ballard, Ballew, Morgan, Central, Southwestern, and Doss. Who's played tougher in the region.

 

Has Ballou beaten anyone in our state yet? Morgan is probably about 9-12 in the 16th region. Russell beat the shoes off of Central. The others beat the shoes off of Rose Hill. Now, I'm not bashing your team, because I think they are a good team and I have them rated 2nd in the region right now, but let's not get carried away. They could possibly go undefeated for the rest of the season, as well - since they only play about 3 more teams. That being said, I still think Rose Hill will be competing for the regional crown this year.

If I made the schedule for Rowan, they would play a home-in-home with Rose Hill so that they would be better prepared for tournament time.

Rose Hill will make some noise in the 16th Region chase. Their youth is a factor now, but with every game they play leading into the tourneys they are gaining valuable experience. They have a starting five that can compete with anyone. Depth may be the main issue, not age. Russell is the favored and should be. And there is no doubt that RH will be in contention.

Lets see Rose Hill plays Fairview, Ashland, Boyd, Lawrence (twice), Lewis, Fleming, Cincinnati Oak Hills, Lexington Christian, and West Carter. Not too mention the all A classic which will put them against Bath, possibly Raceland and Elliot or Fairview again. Now tell me who in the 16th region plays a tougher remaining schedule.

Do you even know anything about Cincy Oak Hills? I just went back and looked at Rowans remaining schedule. It is very similar to Rose Hill except Rowan play George Rogers Clark. Will Rowan go undefeated? Just make sure everyone understands Rose Hill is playing every 16th region team that would play. Unlike some they didn't duck or dodge a soul.
