Tigerallamerican Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 LCA JV wrapped up a perfect season by thumping Corbin tonight 41-12. Teams they beat include: Franklin Freddie D Corbin Woodford Scott Co Great Crossing Bullitt East Harrison Co 1
FLYGUY Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Very good team! Wish FC got them later in the year, to see if we could have made it a game.
Tigerallamerican Posted October 26, 2021 Author Posted October 26, 2021 Corbin 41-12 Scott 20-14 (broke Scott Co 17 game win streak) Great Crossing 46-6 Bullitt East 28-6 Freddie D 30-14 Woodford Co 58-22 Franklin Co 60-20 Harrison Co 42-0
ChickenWyngz Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 Awesome season for these guys, but I think I'm most blown away by the fact that not only do people keep track of JV-level winning streaks, but opponents actually know/care about them.
theguru Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 I don't know if emphasis is the right word but I am glad to see meaningful JV football. And considering how good LCA is on the varsity level you would have to think they are going to be really good for years to come. Congrats LCA! 3
Voice of Reason Posted October 26, 2021 Posted October 26, 2021 A very good and loaded varsity often leads to a very good JV. 2
Cobraxx Posted October 27, 2021 Posted October 27, 2021 I think this shows the depth Coach Charles is trying to build in a small school program. To see a 2A program play this type of JV schedule is going to help alleviate the ups and downs many small schools have. 1

Some schools Douglass played we’re not able to field a freshman team. So Douglass decide to let their freshman play in this one since they had not played as many games. 1

Not sure it would have mattered since FD's JV got beat by Great Crossing and LCA's JV put a running clock on Great Crossing. Either way glad to see some media on JV games on these boards. These guys work hard and deserve some pub. 1
