LCA JV perfect season

LCA JV wrapped up a perfect season by thumping Corbin tonight 41-12. Teams they beat include:

Awesome season for these guys, but I think I'm most blown away by the fact that not only do people keep track of JV-level winning streaks, but opponents actually know/care about them.

I don't know if emphasis is the right word but I am glad to see meaningful JV football.   

And considering how good LCA is on the varsity level you would have to think they are going to be really good for years to come.

I think this shows the depth Coach Charles is trying to build in a small school program. To see a 2A program play this type of JV schedule is going to help alleviate the ups and downs many small schools have.

This score was LCA’s JV team but in this game they played the Douglass freshman team not their JV. Some schools Douglass played we’re not able to field a freshman team. So Douglass decide to let their freshman play in this one since they had not played as many games.

Not sure it would have mattered since FD's JV got beat by Great Crossing and LCA's JV put a running clock on Great Crossing. Either way glad to see some media on JV games on these boards. These guys work hard and deserve some pub.
