How is this going to breakdown in round one?

Covcath is the one seed.  Then three way tie for second between Cooper, Conner, and Highlands which the tiebreaker is RPI.

Cooper based off how much higher they were than both Highlands and Conner going into this week. Should have a good shot to still be the 2 seed. So it will come down to Conner and Highlands for the three seed. Conner was ahead of Highlands in the RPI before tonight. Highlands doesn’t play next week, while Conner has a chance to add another win next week. So it will be interesting to see if Highlands win tonight bumps them ahead of Conner or not. Then if Conner playing next week, while Highlands is off makes a difference or not.

So I am a little late to the party, RPI will determine the seeding with a tie?

Which the RPI has been updated to account for tonight’s results. Cooper still has a decent margin over both Conner and Highlands in the RPI after tonight. Also Conner is still barely ahead of Highlands after tonight, but it is really close. I assume if Conner wins next week, they will stay ahead of Highlands and be the three seed.

This season and body of work does nothing to support your theory.

In a season like this with so many covid DNP’s and injuries, what I see right now, is what I expect to continue to see.

Not really following the RPI. Highlands hasn’t lost to anyone except for Ryle by more than 8 points. And that was by 14. Comparing competition level doesnt add up. They barely lost to McNick who just got their first L tonight and they beat Bowling Green. Who did Conner and Cooper play outside of NKY? No one with a winning record.

If Highlands had beaten Conner or Covcath. Then they wouldn’t have had to worry about the RPI.
