That being said, from what I've gathered above, Union County is a hard nosed team with a stout wrestling background/conditioning program and they have some 5th year seniors, so I'm not calling for a running clock, but I do think Tilghman can eke out a win here.  And Union County's only loss was to Caldwell County and I think Tilghman could beat Caldwell.  

I like all you guys but I just pick what I think will happen.

Note:  I didn't say your wrong.  Union could win this game.  We just selected opposite teams in a very competitive District game.  Will be exciting to see what happens!

I will take Tilghman, because there is 1 game a year I do not pull for them…..

I noticed Union beat Owensboro Catholic 12-7 earlier this year.  Did Union have some key players out?

Storms are approaching the Mississippi river counties here in Western Kentucky. Hopefully in the next few hours and before halftime, we can be rid of the bulk of them. 

As the cold front moves through, we're looking at 30-35 m.p.h. wind gusts for a bit. 

I think given the conditions, that style of game is more favorable for Union County. 

5 minutes till game time. Very fortunate so far here in Paducah as the main line of storms split in two about 10 minutes west of here. Only sprinkles here and there so far. Wind has really picked up the last 30 minutes. 

Union 4th and 2 from the Tilghman 36 after the timeout. 

6:15 1st qtr 

Turnover on downs. Receiver was open, pass was just a little off. 

Union had 2 possible td's. One overthrown, one underthrown. Bad coverage by Tilghman. 

Tilghman takes it at their own 44 after the punt. 1:25 1st qtr.

Couple bad snaps on Tilghman. 3rd and 34. Wind is having a big impact. 

4th and 37. Tilghman to punt to start the 2nd qtr. 

Scoreless after the 1st qtr. 

Union timeout. 2nd and 10 from the Tilghman 41. 

8:16 2nd qtr 

Turnover on downs. Tilghman takes it at their own 41 after a near interception. That was a good one to drop. Would have lost 30 yds of field position. 

Tilghman picks up 16 on 3rd and 18. Punt team out. 

Fake punt. Just short. Union takes possession at midfield. 

Union 4th and 5. Union has had at least 5 plays with a receiver wide open that have ended with bad throws or drops. 

Union will go for it after the timeout from the Tilghman 45.
