Brian Francis Eviston Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information (dmefuneral.com)

Eddie Eviston's brother Brian passed away on Wednesday. As many people know in November 2016, Brian was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, or ALS. Even after being diagnosed with ALS Brian continued to give back. His family and friends formed Team "B"elieve and he distributed those funds to other families living with ALS all over the country. Many are familiar with the Team "B"elieve fundraiser scrimmage between Newport Catholic and Covington Catholic. This comes on the heels of Eddie's other brother Sean passing away in August. Just have so much sympathy for what their family must be going through.

Strong Christian man at my church died a couple of days ago. He was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and, at first, it kicked his butt. He took all the treatments and refused to quit. He beat cancer around 2018 but still went for scans. He got his COVID vaccine last spring, got COVID two weeks ago, and succumbed to the virus Tuesday morning.

He was in his 80s and was dedicated to the church his whole life. I'm doing the funeral on Tuesday, it's going to be a tough one.

Prayers for strength and guidance. May your words be a blessing to the family and friends.
