Does this mean the coaches box is back to 10 to 10?

Saw they are requiring rosters to be limited to 80. Better than 60, but still hurts large teams that have more players than that. Some kids that bust their butt in practice aren't going to dress on Friday nights that normally would.

Based on released guidance, if a player is exposed to Covid and vaccinated then they don't have to quarantine unless have symptoms. If unvaccinated then will have to quarantine for 14 days. This should cut down on game cancellations.

I see this hurting teams that have 60 or fewer players. If half of the teams players are Vaccinated that will cause cancellations I believe. If half or more of your team is in 14 day quarantine, how can you still play.

It only cuts down cancellations IF most of the players are vaccinated.

True, but should be less than last year considering nobody was vaccinated.

Looks like Covid cancellations are now forfeits this year? Reading that correctly?

Crazy time to be living in Kentucky right now. The exposure stuff is crazy, if a kid's sister and laws baby sister gets covid and you saw her at a picnic and grabbed a paper plate from her last week and you've had no symptons you should not have to quarantine regardless of vax status.

Which is contrary to what is being pushed by the media, since vaccinated people actually have LESS symptoms but can  still contract and SPREAD the virus shouldn't it be the other way around? Unless there's a whole other reason....wait.

In theory, yes. I have no idea what the vax percentages are for teenagers in KY, but according to the CDC, nationally, the rate for 16-17 year olds is under 45%, and under 50% for 18 year olds. So in reality, on the average team, one positive case wipes out about 1/2 the team to quarantine. I don't think there are many teams that could still play with half their guys in quarantine.

Looks like it but I'm not sure.
