Not exactly sure how we got to this conversation last night, but a friend of mine and I were talking and got onto this topic. We were trying to come up with roads renamed after athletes, in particular.


- Section of KY-118 in Hyden, KY was renamed Tim Couch Pass.

- 1st Street in Newport, KY renamed Dave Cowens Drive.

- Michigan Drive in Louisville, KY was renamed Muhammad Ali Boulevard.

- Seneca Park Road in Louisville, KY was renamed Pee Wee Reese Road.


Anybody know of any others?

Shaun Alexander Way in Florence.

Cooper Drive in Lexington was briefly renamed Hal Mumme Pass until he got the Cats on probation.
