Updated Top 25 PBR rankings from April 12 ~

https://www.prepbaseballreport.com/kentucky/kentuckyteamrankings

No movement in the preseason top 5 teams from Tigerpride94's OP. There is some shuffling and dropouts from the middle of the pack. New to this week's list:

20. Cov Cath

21. Collins

22. North Bullitt

23. DeSales

24. North Oldham

25. Highlands

Agree, disagree, or speculation? Still very early in the year with no team having played ten games yet.

I get baseball rankings are almost impossible to compile, but it would be tough to have a statewide top 25 and have no 9th Region teams represented. The 9th is one of the state's most populous areas and the team's have done very well in the state tourney in recent years. Sounds like that oversight is being corrected.

Prep baseball report caters heavily all areas of KY except NKY, so not surprised by it taking a little longer to pick up on NKY teams. It goes back to their business being focused on running showcases and tournaments in the summer which typically don’t draw much from NKY, as teams in NKY typically gravitate towards summer tournaments across the river or elsewhere.
