Ballard pulls away in the 2nd half after leading the Royals by 6 at the half.

I've heard from a very good source that Ballard has invited Rose Hill to play at Ballard next year with both teams splitting the gate, and also that the Royals have been invited back to the KOB next year. I also have received information that the Royals have been invited by K. Sampson to watch the Hoosiers in action tomorrow in Indiana.

Good learning experience for young Royals. Euton and Jackson each scored twenty-two. Royals will play at 4:30 pm Monday in the fifth place bracket.

Ballard would probably do well in the 16th Region.;)

As the Rose Hill girls learned last year, you often must leave the 16th Region to be appreciated. I particularly like the idea of splitting a gate. I had suggested that such an arrangement should have been used in one instance this year. Also, a return to the prestigious King of the Bluegrass trumps always being ignored by the local holiday tournament. Regardless, the future appears to be promising and our downstate friends seem to realize it.:thumb:

Ballard would have a walk through the 16th.

I think scooterbob might have been making a joke.

Rose Hill simply ran out of gas and the better, deeper, more athletic team won.

Playing this kind of competition will make RH a better team come tourney time. Great learning experience for the young players. Hats off to the young Royals for meeting the challenge.

The Hoosiers? that is awesome. Good showing Rose Hill. Have a safe trip home.

Rose Hill is definitely a force in the 16th this year. Coach Fraley has paid his dues and is reaping the benefits.

Seems like the RH posters have flocked to the boys' forum a little more this year. :p;)

Only because the girls haven't played in a while. I'm sure there will be appearances on the other forum soon since the girls play in Lexington Catholic's tournament most of next week.:thumb:

I know you guys will.

I was not making reference to the girls at all. It is just like all posters on here when your team does well you want to crow about it.

All members are like that. Just throwing it out there so you could spike it like a beach ball old buddy.

It was obvious to me when I watched the RH Royals take on the MC Royals at the Harrison County scrimmage that they had some talent. They should be very much in the mix in the 16th Region tourney.

I echo your thoughts on Coach Fraley. He went through two very difficult seasons but coached his heart out the entire time. I will never forget before they played Ashland in the district his first season. His team had absolutely 0% chance of winning. Yet he approached the game like it was a toss up.

He has earned his right to succeed and I hope he does. If nothing else he has had a taste of success anyway.

Coach Fraley took over a program that anyone else would have avoided at all costs. He has paid his dues and deserves success. It is possible that he will have that success for the next few years.
