Football enthusiasts can always debate the importance of 7 on 7 activities, but if you’re going to participate you might as well in the thing. Good job Tigers on earning the first trophy of the ‘21 season!

I went back and looked at score in 2019 for St.X Gold vs Eastern scrimmage and Eastern won 6-3. I'm looking forward to another competitive game on 8/6.

Didn’t realize that was the score. I do like how St. X uses the scrimmage to get game reps for their younger players.

I count 68 freshman on hudl now. Still lower than in past but still good number since would be 3 deep if were equally distributed between positions.

Heading into the middle of week three of practice, any insight into how things are going? Surprise players? Position battles?

I'm on the track with track guys couple days a week and football team is out there. They seem to be working hard and have good enthusiasm when guys make a good play. Not in full gear yet. Not sure about position battles. I plan to go to both scrimmages on 6th and see how they look.

I'll have to find out the green one but should be in morning. Gold one is in evening at 7:00. I'll find out for sure next week.
