Yeah, not a great option. But have heard there is support for that option. I still think what they will do is start practice on Jan. 19 and games on Feb 1.

Tough for all of those kids.

Yeah, hate it for kids. I’ll be at St.X/Collegiate game Tuesday but will try and keep track of meeting.

I agree, all JCPS does is have meetings and delay things.

Well - my wife teaches in JCPS, so that'd be a bad thing.....  ?

But...seriously...on the athletics side....they have certainly chosen the conservative approach, to say the least.      It's unfortunate, too, because JCPS arguably has the best two teams in the state.

Wonder if - assuming JCPS makes this move - whether other districts follow suit?   Fayette County, perhaps?   And - if it becomes a trend, does the KHSAA re-visit it's decision?   Commissioner Tackett might get his way after all(??)

Who knows?   I regret the direction Jason Frakes is indicating they are likely to go, but I'm not sure I can fault them.  When this is all over, JCPS may look like the smart ones.   We're all in uncharted waters....?
