Is Beechwood still playing Meade County? - Game Canceled

Featured Replies

Beechwood, in no way initiated any of this.

Beechwood was/still is very interested in playing this game if the status changes. To say it was because Beechwood didn't want to wait -- no truth.

Your post is misleading and incorrect.  (Which you corrected previously)

Ok. That’s not what I was told.

Im in no way insinuating Beechwood is “scared” or anything like that. They are a REALLY good team and I’m sure would be considered a huge favorite to win the game.

So are you saying Beechwood could wait until Thursday afternoon to know if they were gonna have a game on Friday?

I believe Pikeville is open, and that would be a good game to pickup for the playoffs.

That would be an awesome matchup to see right before the playoffs!

Does this have any RPI implications?

If Beechwood does not pick up a game, then their RPI should stay about the same. They miss an opportunity to gain RPI with the cancellation. A win over a 6A school would be a big boost to RPI.
