I read the article and was surprised to learn both his parents were big time basketball players for Male.

I didn’t know both parents were Male graduates either. 

 

 

Recruiting is always an interesting science. If you’re WKU why wouldn’t you be one of the first schools to offer, like EKU was a year ago? Will said player end up at EKU or in this case WKU, probably not. But there’s not really a point in offering when he already has power 5 offers. 
 

I guess it’s just so they can say they have offered.

Excited to see him play! It wouldn't surprise me as the season goes on to see him line up at various spots along the DL. Same idea as Mekhi on offense, he must be accounted for from an opposing offense standpoint. 

 

Probably a good spot for him. He had a rough couple of years because of injury so I'm sure that's why some of the bigger schools backed off, and there would be a lot of pressure on him if he decided to go to an in-state school. Brohm and co. will more than likely give him every opportunity to develop and be a significant contributor for the Boilermakers. Congrats to Micah.
