Another battle between these Louisville small private schools is on deck for Friday, as CAL journeys to South Louisville to take on their rival DeSales. The Colts' game last week was cancelled due to COVID protocols, so in an indirect way, they've had two weeks to prepare for CAL. On the other side, the Centurions were clicking on all cylinders, getting back on track with a 41-0 dismantling of Henry County. Who wins this rivalry game?

I think preparation for CAL and being thin in some positions is why DeSales didn’t play this Friday since they could have played Butler. I like DeSales to get the win in this one since CAL not as good as have been the last few years.

I'm going with the Colts as well.

If DeSales can pound the rock to Johnson and set up calculated shot plays I like their defense to do enough to create the gap to win this one.

CAL's best hope is for DeSales to try and force passes downfield before they get their power run game going.

The team that runs the ball with success will win. I don’t know how good CAL’s ground game is. But it’s a great rivalry!

DeSales wins, and maybe by a lot.

I know it is a super tight window but it would be cool if DeSales and St. Xavier could get together. Maybe Saturday night.

It appears St. Xavier/DeSales IS happening!
