September 29, 20205 yr I think the only way he doesn't get it, is if they refuse to award him because lots around baseball probably don't care much for him. I'd imagine he's Rob Manfred's least favorite player haha!
September 30, 20205 yr I'm not totally sure but I think what may hurt Bauer is I think if a player in the running and their team wins their division they get bonus points in the voting. I've seen mock list and they have a column that says bonus points and it said for winning division.
September 30, 20205 yr Yu Darvish is the competition. Stats very similar to Bauer's with a better won/loss record and he pitches for a division winner.

October 2, 20205 yr After watching the game today it’s another vote for Bauer for Cy Young. When his team needed him badly Bauer gave up 2 hard hit balls the whole game and 0 runs against the team that finished 2nd in MLB in runs scored. When his team badly needed him Darvish gave up SEVERAL hard hit balls and 2 runs to the team that finished 19th in scoring!!

I'd like to thank @LRCW for being an inspiration and @Voice of Reason for recognizing my humble efforts, and providing motivation when things looked bleak. Sorry I didn't have enough juice left in the tank come the playoffs, but glad we were able to bring home the hardware for Trevor. Go Reds!
