Actually it isn't funny because Young and Bush are among the leading candidates and are both very likely to win ROY. Vince Young is a quarterback with a 6-2 record as a starter, and has taken his team on his back on a couple occasions. There is no position in the league more important than the quarterback. Therefore, barring any flops or extreme surprises by any of the candidates, Young is the winner. I'd love to see Hester win it, but its just not going to happen. Although he is great, he is merley a return man.

December 13, 200619 yr ^ Devin has put himself as one of the major reasons the Bears are going to have the advantage in the NFC...it is over. He owns an NFL record...not a rookie record.

As I said earlier, Hester is going to have a tough time for a couple reasons. First, there is the logic that if say, Reggie Bush, were to have to concentrate primarily on punt and KO returns, who knows what he'd do? Same could probably be said of a lot of the better players in the NFL. 6 returns is certainly a remarkable feat, no doubt. Secondly, as much help as Hester has been to the Bears, I kind of think Bush, and definately think Young have meant more to their team. Finally, when it's all said and done, its a popularity contest, and outside the midwest you aren't going to find much support for Hester over "names" like Bush and Young.
