September 6, 20206 yr Author MORE sloppy baseball here in the 3rd, LeCure and Brantley getting in them right now, about time!

September 6, 20206 yr Author WHY Davidson again???? He hasn’t had hit since Moby Dick was a minnow!!!! Mr. Rogers must hate Aquino!!
September 6, 20206 yr Author Just can’t believe how poorly this team has hit pretty much for 40 games
September 6, 20206 yr Author Who calls the pitches for the Reds??? 0-2 count, Bell hasn’t come within a foot of a curve/slider and you call fastball?????????? Just got the whole inning off to a bad start!!! Please go sit in the clubhouse Mr. Rogers!! Day off tomorrow, surely they’ll fire you tomorrow, this should’ve been an easy sweep!!!
September 6, 20206 yr Author Another blown save led 2-1 going to the bottom of the 9th. The Pirates have tied it and have the bases loaded with no outs.
September 6, 20206 yr Keep waiting for Iglasias to get better...........it just ain't hap'nin'. Unbelievable they lost this game. How the hell do the Redlegs have a better record, at the moment, than the "Buckos" I'll never know. (Said to my wife at bottom of 9th when they brought in Iglasias Redlegs would lose this game. She got on me about it.....I just looked over at her like Nostradamus.)
September 6, 20206 yr Really enjoyable getting to listen to Jeff Brantley on TV. He is the most honest, insightful guy, perhaps in the program. Were I king of the Reds, he would be my manager. I'm sure he would run a straight ship, and we would play to our maximum ability.

This should’ve been the best team since ‘90 BUT that 90 team had 2 things this team doesn’t, fight and Lou Pinella to make sure they had that fight!! Me and a friend of mine said when they lost the next 4 after winning opening day they already looked like a lost team, guess we were right. The 1 good thing about this season is that it’s 60 games instead of 162!!!
September 7, 20206 yr Here are actual numbers to consider in the Votto "discussion": Votto is tied for fourth on the team in HR's, RBI and OBP. Votto is 3rd in hits and runs. Votto's OPS is better than the beloved Aquino's. Since returning from his benching by Bell, Votto is hitting .292 with and .393 OBP. He is not the Joey Votto of the past. But when Bell looks at his options, how does he sit one of his most productive offensive players? Facts are facts. Let's spend some time talking about the many other players on this team failing even more than Votto. There are a LOT of them. In fact, almost all of them are failing more than Votto.
