Last year's schedule had their district game against Bourbon County the week following Anderson County, and then they closed off the season against Madison Southern. I would assume this year will be a repeat of those two games.

Boyle adds senior transfer Jagger Gillis this year, who's coming on board after his family moved into the district from Anderson County. Gillis was the starting QB for the Bearcats last year. He passed for 1100 yards and 7 touchdowns last year and rushed for another 200 yards and 7 touchdowns. He also tallied 27 tackles as a defensive back.

Who's toughest opponent on their schedule in 2020? I'd like to think CAL and Lex Cath. But is Highlands up to the task this year?

From @Rebel:

IMO Highlands is the best team on Boyle's schedule this season.

Boyle has a lot of young talent that didn't get a shot at playing time with all the seniors on last years team. McDaniel has proved he can run the ball, most of the line is back and got Lanter, Shepardson, and Clark back catching the ball. You got D1 talent Zeismer, and Jackson Smith (Who can play more than just a kicker) back. Gillis will be a added bonus for Boyle with 3 years experience behind the center.

My prediction is 9-1 to 10-0 regular season record.

From @DearToday:

I think Boyle will be back playing Johnson Central for a championship. That or they will get beat out by Central in the final 4 depending on RPI.

From @Rebelstat:

Highlands to me is the toughest team but when you have to go to CAL and with they way Boyle beat them last year. CAL will be ready to play and try to revenge that lose. Plus with a new Coach it might take a couple of games for Boyle to get going with a new offense and defense, that is if Coach changes thing a lot. I with Rebel and say 10-0 or 9-1 with the 1 being Highlands at Highlands.

With the first scheduled game a month away, will it happen?  I'm beginning to have my doubts!

Based on nothing more than a guess, I'd imagine the season will be cut short two weeks and start on Labor Day weekend. Just a guess.

All but the Bowl games it looks like with but  the Danville game moving to the end of the year.  I'm ok with that schedule if we still play.

I like Danville as the last game of the regular season.  Just like old times!

Agreed. Boyle and Danville met in the season finale each year from 1975-80 and again from 1993-98 (honestly, fewer times than I remembered). They split the six games between 1975-80 while Danville won five of six between 1993-98.
