Speaking of injuries, what about the GRC kid (32?) who went out with the knee injury in the second half? What's his prognosis? I was right by the play and it looked pretty nasty the way he came down.

From what I've heard he messed something up with his growth plate in his ankle but that isn't 100% sure yet.

That would be 8th grader Robbie Stenzel. It is his ankle...should know more tomorrow on how serious it is.

More stats on Preston Knowles from last nights game:

He had 19 points in the first 11 minutes as Clark built a 13 point lead. He did not start the second half due to the stomach flu. For the game he had, 26 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals

Mostly man, but some matchup zone as well. SL seemed to have some trouble with GRC's quickness.

IMHO, South probably should have rested more of the starters in the 3rd & 4th quarters on Friday night when they were up big on North with a game the next day against a solid GRC team. I can't say I would have had Proffitt and Hammonds in the game in the 4th quarter up 40+ in that game. But that's just me. Big win for GRC but you can bet that SL will bounce back strong.

Big win for Clark Co. But from what Ive seen SL has a really big drop off after their top 3 players.

GRC will take their lickings while Tristian Jones is out. But trust me coming the end of Feb. they will be the team to beat. With Jones out that will just toughen the bench up. Coach H will have them prepared to the fullest. Like we all know coming district time everybody is 0-0.

My thoughts exactly. It will give some other kids valuable experience. It will make GRC an even better come March. As if the rest of the region needed that.
