I thought the KHSAA official start date for practice wasn't until July 23? If they're out there right now, doesn't this violate this no-practice rule or is this one of those KHSAA rules that doesn't get inforced until someone gets hacked off?

I believe that teams are aloud to start wearing helmets on July 15th. They can actually start practicing the day after school is out for the year, they just can't wear any equipment (I think this is considered unofficial practice and it is not suppose to be manditory). I think July 23rd maybe the first day for contact. If any of this is not correct then someone please help me out.

This is still considered conditioning

July 15th is the first day that teams can practice in Helmets and shoulder pads. The first day of full contact is based on when your school year starts. If you start August 8th for example, the first day you can go to full contact is July 27th. The earliest anyone can go full contact is July 27th.
