Let’s go! Four straight, right?

Jarin Rassman 28 points.

4 straight district championships for Gallatin!

First time in school history. Also won in 2006-08.

Rassman was magnificent as usual. With the score 39-33 with 6:00 remaining he scored 15 of Gallatin’s next 17 points in a span of 3:30 to push the lead to 56-41 with 2:30 left, essentially putting the game away. He also grabbed 8 rebounds.

Senior Gage Ashcraft added 14 points including a 3 point play and three pointer in the final 30 seconds of the half to push Gallatin’s from 21-20 to 27-20. Zach Johnson also hit double figures with 10.

And kudos to Hayden Dickerson and Logan Riddle for their defensive efforts. Ethan Lankford scored just 2 points while suffering from foul trouble and Trevor Hardin, who also battled foul trouble, was held to 4 points through the first three quarters.

Roll on Blue Wildcats, see you at the Roy.

Crazy to think that people were really picking Henry Co. to win this district championship. Goes to show that some people are clueless on here. Why would you pick against a Jon Jones coached team that is the 3-time defending champ of the district, that also has the best player in the district? Because they defeated Gallatin one time this year without one of its best defenders and outside shooters in Hayden Dickerson? The Wildcats proved that they still are kings of the 31st District tonight behind another dominant performance from Jarin Rassman.

Yes at 1:00 I think.

I hope a coach is smart enough to give this kid a chance to play at the next level. Obviously one of the best in recent GC history, but comes from a great coach who makes his players work hard.

I picked this one wrong. It was my upset special.

Guess I'm just clueless.

And I've known Jon long enough - ever since he started at Gallatin - to know that picking against him is a scary proposition.

I'll quit writing. (not)

I am sure there was more than just you with some doubt, Coach Welch got put into a tough decision. Gage was torching them in the first half, Welch adjusted and Jarin lit them up in the second half. The real story was the Gallatin defense and rebounding. Keep on writing CM.

Just a question, what school/conference would you project him playing at?
